The Lord has been so kind to us in our inaugural year at Upstate Classical Christian Academy. Our first three months have been filled with productivity. Our first graders have memorized the books of the Bible, the Ten Commandments, thirty-five catechism questions about the Christian faith, and many Bible verses! The students have grown tremendously in their ability to decode words as they work towards becoming fluent readers, recall math facts from memorization, and remember important dates in history, such as Christopher Columbus’s discovery of America in 1492! I am so grateful to God for how He has blessed our school. I look forward to seeing how He uses UCCA to shape these students and conform them to the image of Christ.

The School Board deliberated and prayed and has decided for UCCA to be a participating educational institution in the SC ESTF.  We believe the South Carolina ESTF program is a positive force for school choice in South Carolina and we see it as a great opportunity for the school and for our families.  One of our core principals is to always prioritize the education of our students and to protect the integrity of the school.  Although government funding can have a negative effect on the entities that are funded by it, we are convinced the ESTF (at least in its current form) is a good choice for UCCA.
